Mihyun Hong

Hello everyone! My name is Mihyun Hong. Born in South Korea and coming to a whole different country has been a huge and significant adjustment in my life. Furthermore, moving from Georgia to New Mexico was also a drastic change. Traveling from a different country and from state to state, I have been privileged to meet new people, learn new things, and make life long memories.

During my senior year of high school, I was determined to move out of the state (like everyone else), so NMSU was the last thing on my mind. However, discovering the Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management major, I gave it another thought. Now in my second year at the CAHE, I am enthusiastic in pursuing this major and going into the hospitality field.
