Hello fellow Aggies and guests! My name is Elena Ruiz; I was born in Puerto Rico and raised in El Paso, TX. I am a transfer student from El Paso Community College with Associate Degrees in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management. Now IÕm working on my Bachelors of Science in Hospitality, Restaurant, and Tourism Management (HRTM).
I haven't always known what to do with my life and my goals are always changing, but choosing The School of HRTM has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I like the options I am given with HRTM and the many career opportunities offered. One day I will open a business of my own and the knowledge and experience I have gained in the College of Agriculture and Home Economics will help me better do this.
The College of Agriculture and Home Economics is a great place to learn and grow with knowledgeable professors and staff to always back you up. It also has many opportunities to get involved and a friendly environment to meet others.
