ASC - Clovis Annual Field Day
The 2008 Annual Field Day at the Agricultural Science Center at Clovis is scheduled for Thursday, August 28, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. A lunch sponsored by local businesses will be served. There will be a lunch program with guest speakers and a tour of the center's projects.

Zoonotic Disease Tabletop Exercise
New Mexico State University will test its communicable disease response plan during a Zoonotic Disease exercise conducted by Billy Dictson and Jeff Witte of the Southwest Border Food Safety and Defense Center.
The exercise will be from 8 a.m. until noon August 27 at the NMSU Safety Training Room located in Academic Research Bldg C, Rm 110

CAHE is host to the USDA/CSREES/NASULGC Western Region Teaching Symposium. The purpose of the conference is to improve the quality of western states university teaching and learning in the consumer and agricultural sciences.

2008 New Mexico Small Farm Conference and Trade Show
The New Mexico State University’s Cooperative Extension Service would like to welcome you as a vendor to the 2nd New Mexico Small Farm Conference and Trade Show being held at the Moriarty Civic Center in Moriarty, New Mexico.
The conference and trade show is focus in on the small scale livestock and agricultural producers of this state and will present educational programs tailored for their needs.
The conference will start on a Friday October 24, and go through Saturday October 25th.

NM 4-H Leaders' Forum
Annual statewide educational event for adult 4-H volunteer leaders. 4-H parents, faculty and staff are also encouraged to participate. Twenty workshops, educational displays and special activites comprise the Forum. It will be held at the Wyndham Hotel near the airport in Albuquerque.

ICAN State Conference
The Ideas for Cooking and Nutrition (ICAN) Program State Conference will be held November 19-21, 2008 in Las Cruces, NM. The purpose of the statewide conference is to conduct training for Nutrition Educators, Program Assistants, and Supervisors in the area of program delivery, evaluation and reporting. ICAN refers to both the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) and the Food Stamp Nutrition Education Program (FSNE) in New Mexico.
